Happy Father’s Day
I am reminded that it is Father's Day here in Scotland. I have to be reminded of the date because it isn't one that formed an integral part of my calendar as a child. I recall one episode in school where I had to participate with the class in making our fathers a Father's Day Card and this was very odd for me since I had no-one to give it to. I awoke this morning feeling depressed and harbouring a sense of dread that today will resemble yesterday. The only positive thing about my waking was that I awoke by myself without any outside influences.
