I pull the card from the box and smile. Is it coincidence or connection that draws my fingertips to it? It is the first time I smile this morning - this morning is about managing pain... In SoulCollage we use the "I am the One who..." exercise to speak from the card...

I have been thinking about my travels in response to the request for a post about my favourite city. I haven't decided on that one yet, but a particular day springs to mind that doesn't involve cities at all really. The day began in the middle of the night as I checked out of my hotel at 3:30am to clamber into a pre-booked taxi. My hotel was one of the indulgences of the trip - a night at the Plaza for $100. This was in direct contrast to the previous night with a bed in Guaymas at the Casa de ... read more
Retreat New Hampshire
[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="400" caption="Sunset Lily's Pond Alyson's Orchard New Hampshire"][/caption] My apologies for taking so long to return proper! This weekend ... read more

The new issue of Mslexia arrived in the post so I savoured that and will take it to bed with me. The only creative thing I did today was figure out how to make a favicon image appear beside my website URL in a browser - which sends me down the path of thinking about designing a new logo... but not today. But that tiny little image ... read more

I am feeling lethargic today. I have a pile of orders to send out and there are loads of things I could be doing, but so far I am only coping with drinking tea and reading blogs. It's the natural slump after menstruation where I feel like an elastic band pulled taut - I'm doing nothing but I can feel the potential energy burst lurking. Maybe I will ping ... read more
