My New Look
I have to thank the lovely Sue (Blog Mum) for my gorgeous makeover. I'm happy to fiddle about with html and hack existing code, but I could never have made my blog look the way it looks today :) Of course almost as soon as Sue installed my new custom theme, life took over and has managed to divert me from scrabbling together even a single post - and I now have the added pressure of producing a new image for each post or else end up with a front page of Fly Agaric... *wink* I am busy ... read more
CSS Frustrations
I haven't been writing much and one reason is that every time I come to my blog I'm spending my time trying to configure it to look the way I want it to. And that is driving me bananas. I just want it to have the same look and colour scheme as my old blogspot - but I can't figure out how to get the daisies down the side! I know it's probably a simple thing I need to tweak, but I just can't figure it out. I have managed to narrow the content to make a space for the daisy background, but I ... read more
Pat on my back
OK I'm not getting on with setting up this blog very fast because I am otherwise busy, but today I have some time and I noticed that I need to upgrade my version of Wordpress. Having only recently learned how to install the bloody thing I think it is far too soon to expect me to upgrade it! But I seem to have managed to do it without disappearing my blog again *grin* So Here I am version 2.6.1 and I have no idea what the extra .1 has given me that I didn't have before. But I'm sure it is ... read more
Giggling
Heh so I am far too busy to be diddling with this blog but I thought I would be smart and try to figure out the adding images to posts bit. Obviously I didn't figure that out yet but I did manage to completely deny access to even see this blog to all and sundry - including myself. I don't even know how I did it, but I seem to have got it back. I will take the hint from the universe and go and do something else and see what other disasters I can create. *laughter* (I think I am looking ... read more
We have flowers
Today's massive achievement in learning Wordpress - the flowers at the top and bottom. I don't like that blue line though but I'll figure out how to affect that another time. I'm also not getting my head around the side bar much - I think it supposed to have two columns but I have no idea how to achieve that. So I'll come back to that. It's all a bit white and clutter free for ... read more
Footless
heh I have footered aboot and diddled wi the header and made it a site more .me ;o) Lost those silly feet on the letters too. There's not enough clutter and it's too clean looking for me, but the first attempt at decorating the walls has resulted in colour where I wanted it and no explosions. Must ... read more
Install.me
Here I am with a brand spanking new blog. I am quite chuffed with myself as this is a much more complicated process than signing up for Blogger. When I first explored the idea of blogging I remember reading about some of the top tips: Get your own domain/hosting Use Wordpress Of course when I started blogging I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy it, how long I would participate for and whether it was worth the time and financial outlay to do anything more than grab a free ... read more
Busy Busy
Do you believe that if you choose to put the right kind of energy in the right kind of direction desired things will come to pass? I do. Do you believe in magic? I do. Are the two things one and the same? Hmmm. I think that you can put the right energy in the right direction and magic is the ingredient that brings you what you want and often with bonus extras. This month I have felt inspired to blog, and also to give my blog some added visibility by adding it to places like Technorati ... read more

One Hundred
[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Pathworking"][/caption] To mark my one hundredth post to this blog I was going to post a list of one hundred things I want to do before I die - but so far I've only written down 86. I'm not sure what that says about me... either I'm happy with my lot, or lacking imagination or perhaps some of the 86 bullet points are cover-alls and I could be more specific. Writing one hundred posts to a blog is a small landmark in the big scale of ... read more
I Rock, Apparently
Misssy M aka She Who Numbers Snails has nominated me as a Rocking Girl Blogger. See - I have a sparkling pink button! I am so touched and shocked and over-flowing with emotion about this (is that out there enough? ;-p) I will be back with my own nominations later. It's late and I'm all moused out ~ last night I was on my way to bed. I rounded the corner in the hall and became aware of a blob where no blob has been ... read moreThe High Vibes Game of Tag

The Z List
Following on from The W List, here is The Z List - I'm tempted to write something about an X List but the hilarity of my past doesn't really help expose bloggers. As with the W List, copy and paste the list into your blog and add a few of your favourites and watch as more people begin to find your blog - and enjoy finding new blogs to read.
