<p>A quiet day today - I gave myself a Reiki treatment and read some stories. The new issue of <a href="http://www.mslexia.co.uk/">Mslexia</a> arrived in the post so I savoured that and will take it to bed with me. The only creative thing I did today was figure out how to make a favicon image appear beside my <a href="http://www.taexalia.com/">website</a> URL in a browser - which sends me down the path of thinking about designing a new logo... but not today. But that tiny little image has made me smile!!</p>

			</a>
		</div>
<p>I have been exploring red in doodle drawings, SoulCollage, meditation and this is also the phase leading up to my Red Moon... The first part of this journey began when I made this SoulCollage card:</p>
<p><center><div class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 316px"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center " title="Muladhara SoulCollage Card" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/soulcollage/muladhara.jpg" alt="Muladhara SoulCollage Card" width="306" height="500" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Muladhara SoulCollage Card</p></div></center></p>
<p>This card was one of those cards I began with intent and then took a long time to finally glue down the images. I had collected a large pile of red images, snakes and dragons - and eventually whittled them down to the one which appears on this card.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong>~*~</strong></p>
<p>Last night I was browsing through the leftover pile of red imagery and I quickly created this card:</p>
<p><center><div class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 510px"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center " title="Grounding SoulCollage Card" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/soulcollage/grounding.jpg" alt="Grounding SoulCollage Card" width="500" height="287" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Grounding SoulCollage Card</p></div></center></p>
<p>I like the contrast between the two cards - the drama of the first one complimented by the peace of the second one...</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">~*~</p>
<p>A while ago I got an idea from someone about keeping a daily drawing notebook. My initial idea was to use a set of Sharpies that were gifted to me from across the sea and make doodle art every day. As with many of my bright ideas, this habit hasn't formed yet... But last night I grabbed a sketchbook and my Sharpies and started doodling. The results:</p>
<p><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/creativity/root1.jpg" alt="Root ~ Sharpie Art" /><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/creativity/root2.jpg" alt="Root ~ Sharpie Art" /><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/creativity/root3.jpg" alt="Root ~ Sharpie Art" /></p>
<p>Then I went back to making SoulCollage cards and came up with these two:</p>
<p><center><div class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 316px"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center " title="Shedding SoulCollage Card" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/soulcollage/shedding.jpg" alt="Shedding SoulCollage Card" width="306" height="500" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Shedding SoulCollage Card</p></div></center></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p><center><div class="wp-caption aligncenter" style="width: 510px"><img class="ngg-singlepic ngg-center " title="Anger SoulCollage Card" src="http://taexalia.me/blog/wp-content/gallery/soulcollage/rage.jpg" alt="Anger SoulCollage Card" width="500" height="330" /><p class="wp-caption-text">Anger SoulCollage Card</p></div></center></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">
<p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><a href="http://www.soulcollage.com/" target="_blank">SoulCollage®</a> is the process, developed by Seena B. Frost, of creating a deck of collaged cards from found images—cards that are arranged in suits for the primary purpose of self-exploration and self-acceptance. SoulCollage® cards are made from original purchased art (e.g., art published in magazines, calendars, books, cards, etc.) and personal materials (e.g., photos). SoulCollage cards are not to be sold, traded, or bartered and are to be reproduced only for the personal use of the maker of the card.</span></p>
