About

Taexalia and the wild.life ~ walking the wildish path

Creativity, wild creatures, waves on the sand, the turning colours of leaves, dark weather chasing sunshine there and back again, politics, opinions, ideas, art, writing, struggling, succeeding... and failing, discovering and experimenting...

From where I sit, in the Kingdom of Fife, all these things are part of the web of the wild.life - wild in the sense of finding, connecting with and being authentic to the innate Wildish Self. If you don't have a clue what an innate Wildish Self might be then you probably haven't read Women Who Run With The Wolves by Dr Clarissa Pinkola Éstes - you might want to give that a gander... after you've spent a little time exploring my blog :)

Born in Aberdeen, raised in Aberdeen/shire, lived there for a long time. Lived briefly in Strathclyde, lived for a few years in Edinburgh and now putting roots down in Fife - yeah I'm Scottish :)

I walk, I write, I take blurry pictures of wild things, I try to see the sunrise and the sunset (easier in Winter!), I doodle and I make things. Sometimes I even remember to blog about it all.

Labels I choose to define me:

blogger, bookslut, creatrix, knitter, photographer, polymer clay artist, wildlife watcher, entrepreneur, maverick, non-partisan, gardener, experimental, storyteller, walker, writer, thinker, opinionated, passionate, dreamer, healer, full of cheek, wildlife tracker, wildlife poop amateur specialist...

Oh and people like this blog enough to have given me 3rd place:
