Sometimes silence is complicity… therefore…

I speak.

I have come to the conclusion that there are two things one must not do. There are probably more, but in this moment these are the two things that spring to mind (in the context of blogging and voicing opinions on the international interweb)...

One.

Do not criticise Barack Obama or otherwise view him with a critical eye.

If you do this you open yourself up to abuse and accusations of being various nasty or stupid things.

To have an opinion that is not wholly supportive of PEBO is to sin. Barack Obama is perfect. Do not question perfection.

Two.

Do not criticise the Israeli government or otherwise view it with a critical eye.

Well I am not one for being told how to think. I think Barack Obama is just a man with political ambitions and some interesting choices as far as aquaintances and employees goes. If he manages to walk his talk I will eat a whole grapefruit.

I think the Israeli government are guilty of war crimes. They are doing killing of women and children - possibly right now as I type. Of course governments like the UK and US can't effectively condemn these massacres because they are responsible for their own massacres.

But I condemn them. All of them.

Israel can claim to be fighting in the West's War on Terror - but my view is that if you are intent on terrorising people with weapons and war then you are a terrorist. I think that the UK government, the US government and the Israeli government are terrorists with no valid reason to see themselves as better than anyone else.

To bring peace you must be peace.

Israel is not being peace.

I am disgusted.
