Tap On Again
Today is the 9th day of NaNoWriMo and I have racked up a few words and only missed writing on two days (yesterday and Friday), and I'm still ahead of schedule. It feels good. I am giving myself kudos. I am questioning nothing. I have been feeling constricted for months, unable to show up here on my blog because I've been feeling scrutinised in a not very pleasant way and I've felt blocked and un-creative.
Then NaNoWriMo reared its head again and I though What The Hell I will do it. I don't actually have to show anyone what I do, just record my progress - and on the very first day the floodgates opened and words began tumbling out. It's an interesting journey because it feels like I am healing a rather ancient wound but at the same time the writing is morphing the wound into something else far more interesting. I love it!
The pleasant side effect is that I'm feeling more inspired about other things too. I rather like that I am turning out 2000 words almost every day 
I hope it continues into December. Thank the Goddess for tasty old bones!

Glad you are writing! Love the picture of the Fox jumping the fence…
I did sign up for NaNoWriMo,,,,, but found I do not have a novel in me at this time, However! I did have a short story!! I usually write poetry, so this was a nice excursion into writing for me.
