OK I'm not getting on with setting up this blog very fast because I am otherwise busy, but today I have some time and I noticed that I need to upgrade my version of Wordpress. Having only recently learned how to install the bloody thing I think it is far too soon to expect me to upgrade it! But I seem to have managed to do it without disappearing my blog again *grin* So Here I am version 2.6.1 and I have no idea what the extra .1 has given me that I didn't have before. But I'm sure it is good.

I have been pondering over the function that allows me to import my blogspot to this domain. There's a purist voice that says "it was created there so it should stay there", but then there's the other voice which says "it's all your own work and should rightfully live on a domain you own". So I think I am going to import the whole lot at some point.

But I'm going to spend some time fiddling about with templates and themes and see if I can get a look that I'm happy with. I like the look of my olde blogge so I'm going to try and emulate it with improvements. But I only have a vague idea of how to do that so if everything looks weird, just squint.

I need to get rid of all this white, it's too stark for me!
