Hey Donald, or is it George Sorial?

I am a Scottish person. I'm a Scottish person because not only is my Mum Scottish, my father was Scottish and all my family are Scottish. Mostly I'm a Scottish person because I was *born* here, because I *live* here and because I cherish the landscape every single day. I pay my taxes here and I vote here and whilst I find it appalling that you seem to get a hotter line to our wee parliament - I believe our democracy gives me more right to a say in what happens in this land than it does you.

I'm also, incidentally, a voice from the North East - because that is where I was born and raised and that is probably where I'll end up.

I live and breathe the wild places of Scotland and I'll be damned if some concrete wielding bully is going to come here and destroy our rare and fragile ecosystems to line his pockets. A few hotel cleaning jobs will not come anywhere close to replacing the oil jobs matey - you might have convinced Aberdeen Journals of that, but I didn't come up with the daisies yesterday.
