Un Settled
I feel the weather and this weekend I am feeling my energies, thoughts and projects swirling. I have a host of ideas that I am working on - some of them are embryonic and I'm wary of voicing them in case they dissipate, others are coming along nicely but still not *there* for any sort of unveiling. Perhaps that's why I'm enjoying knitting socks just now - easy to quantify as a Work In Progress, visible and tangible results and a fairly quick time-span from idea to finished article.
I just looked at these pictures of the storm building and heading towards these islands. It looks so beautiful from that angle, but the reality and the conclusion promise to be ugly and destructive. But I feel it in the air and in my bones and I feel the calm before the maelstrom and I hope that the energy in my body and mind can carry a similar momentum and bring my collection of projects swirling out in a constructive way.
We have plans tomorrow to go walking on Arthur's Seat. It's @'s day off and we want to potter together with our cameras. But we can't control the weather and our forecast is sleet so we may not make it out the front door. Typical since I spent today doing all the *Monday Stuff* so that I could have tomorrow as a day off too. I will feel so frustrated if we cannot go outside and walk.
This too shall pass.

Catching up after a couple of days away from Internet, and tonight, that storm is building around here, too. Glad to see you picked up on that meme. I love your socks! Many years since I knit a wonderful pair with Aztec patterns. Time for some new socks, I think! Thanks for the inspiration.
