Journeying

I was catching up on my Kaleidosoul email reading when I discovered two things that have been monumental in my life in the last couple of days. In fact there is so much energy swirling around at the moment that I can't quite remember which *thing* I discovered first...

I think it was Barb Kobe's Creative Journey Game, and the fact that by the time I discovered it all the spaces for the Kaleidosoul course were full. But having taken a look at her website it didn't take much for me to buy a copy of her curriculum for the game and get all excited about a new creative challenge....

I also discovered that there's a SoulCollage® Facilitator Training being held in Sept and this is the decision I have been pondering about - whether to jump or not. I've wanted to do the training for a long time, but I can only afford one trip over the sea and that is to my women's retreat. Well last year I *put it out there* that I could somehow do the training in 2008, and now there is one scheduled across the bay the weekend before my retreat!!!

Really there was no question, it just took me a day to *jump* and reserve my place. It's more just a case of leaping and trusting the net will be there. I guess I had better get stuck into making more beads!

But back to the Creative Journey - this idea just floats all of my boats and I'm hooked already. I've already begun my first journey board and I'll be blogging about it here - one thing that is going to challenge me is making characters because I haven't done much in the way of doll-making. I am quite intimidated by the idea of making a little person, but seeing the work of Barb and other Healing Doll makers excites me. I see it as an extension or a progression of making the SoulCollage® cards, a different way of working with the psyche as well as a new creative challenge.
