If You Don’t Agree With It – Sack It
This seems to be the message from the corridors of power this week after Aberdeenshire Council sacked Martin Ford.
10 people voted in favour of Mr Ford, 26 people voted against him and 29 abstained, so you don't actually need a majority vote to get what you want these days.
In the spirit of Aberdeenshire Council, I am going to use my majority vote of 1 and sack all the things I don't agree with:
- Laminate wood flooring in upper flats
- Donald Trump
- George Sorial and his rhetoric
- Most of Aberdeenshire Council
- In fact most politicians - I am beginning to think anarchy is an option worth exploring
- War
- Everyone who hasn't figured out that you don't need to shout into a mobile phone.
- McDonalds/Burger King/Heart Disease for 99p chains
- Trident missiles/all weapons
- Plastic carrier bags
- Thames Water for their appalling record of dumping raw sewage in the sea
- Ship to ship oil transfers
- 4WDs in urban areas
- The way my brain sometimes runs into overdrive just when I am trying to sleep
- The way buses smell after the chair fabric has been cleaned
- People who try to travel on trains for free
- Litter
- Litter louts
- People with dogs who don't clean up after themselves
- Royal Mail
- Rampant consumerism
- UNfair Trade
- Alex Salmond
- Laminate Wood Flooring in upper flats - so bad I need to sack it twice
(This list does not reflect the full range of sackable offenses and other things may come under the umbrella term "gross misconduct" and may find themselves terminated at the discretion of the management.)

This whole thing has made me see a different side to people and where I live. I am saddened by the whole thing. And to be honest, bloody sick of all of it.
Can we also sack the Aberdeen journals for not doing a professional job – ever?
