During my Morning Pages I was musing about the creatures who have visited me recently - Crow, Mouse and Fox and as I was pondering about the medicine or messages they might be bringing me I realised they represented a quarter or element...How cool, I thought - and then I wondered what creature represents Water for me just now... and the 3 Pike I saw at the Aquarium of the Lakes swam into my mind...

Singing Into The Night…

Well the political landscape of Scotland is either very interesting or very depressing, depending on how much of an idealistic optimist one is... I'm hearing about challenges to the vote count and calls for recounts and my own thoughts are that the election was a shambles - there are still people who did not even get to vote because their postal ballot papers never got to them in time. Who Will It Be?

Apparently the world was watching as Scottish people went to the Polls yesterday, so it's a real shame that chaos reigns and democracy is called into question. I witnessed resounding discriminatory comments on one forum from a poster who believes that Scotland should not seek Independence - apparently we are stupid based on the fact that we live north of the border. Of Mouse and Woman

So I'm sitting writing my Morning Pages in my bed and two or three times I think I see movement out of the corner of my eye. Every time I look across to the doorway there's nothing there, but I say good morning to the ghost cat :) Something catches my eye again and as I look up a small dark beastie looks back then darts away up the hall!!
