Storyteller
This is the first SoulCollage card that I made. It was made intuitively and I took a little while to realise what it meant, although I find that it means different things from time to time...

Who are you?
I am the one who hears the stories of women.
I am the one who listens to the ancient stones, to the myths and to herstory.
I am the one who spins words and spirals colour.
What do you have to give me?
I give you the beginning of an idea.
What do you want from me?
I want you to honour your storyteller with words and pictures. I want you to remember that if you do not speak, write or create then no-one will know your stories.
SoulCollage® is the process, developed by Seena B. Frost, of creating a deck of collaged cards from found images—cards that are arranged in suits for the primary purpose of self-exploration and self-acceptance. SoulCollage® cards are made from original purchased art (e.g., art published in magazines, calendars, books, cards, etc.) and personal materials (e.g., photos). SoulCollage cards are not to be sold, traded, or bartered and are to be reproduced only for the personal use of the maker of the card.

I think of all of the cards I saw as I browsed through your blog (highly recommended to me by Tammy), this one is speaking the most to me today. I love the power in it… you can almost hear the stories told to her, echoing in the air.
How beautifully said and so poignantly true. I am new to soul collage and find myself overwhelmed with all of the creativity on all of your wonderful websites. My plan for the New Year is to emmerse myself in the HeART of Women!
