Exploring Red
I have been exploring red in doodle drawings, SoulCollage, meditation and this is also the phase leading up to my Red Moon... The first part of this journey began when I made this SoulCollage card:
Muladhara SoulCollage Card
This card was one of those cards I began with intent and then took a long time to finally glue down the images. I had collected a large pile of red images, snakes and dragons - and eventually whittled them down to the one which appears on this card.

Last night I was browsing through the leftover pile of red imagery and I quickly created this card:
Grounding SoulCollage Card
I like the contrast between the two cards - the drama of the first one complimented by the peace of the second one...

A while ago I got an idea from someone about keeping a daily drawing notebook. My initial idea was to use a set of Sharpies that were gifted to me from across the sea and make doodle art every day. As with many of my bright ideas, this habit hasn't formed yet... But last night I grabbed a sketchbook and my Sharpies and started doodling. The results:

I Love “grounded” and the last card with all the masks….these are lovely and you are inspiring me to set up my own soul collage site (separate from my other blogs). Ye p – I finally went and scrounged mine up from out in the shed where they’ve been residing since we decided to clean up the house to sell (and then no one came). Nice gift….thank you!
